Professional
Beauty Network, headquartered in Orange County, California, USA and founded
by Tito Booth in September 1999, made its Internet debut in February 2000 with
the launch of the first web site, the
Makeup Artist Network. The founder's original concept was simple. Why not
use the Internet to promote the professionals of the Beauty and Entertainment
Industries? Since that time the vision has expanded to include Web
Design & Hosting, E-commerce and E-Business Solutions, On-Line Beauty e-Training,
beauty products & Services for the Beauty Professionals and member subscribers
and Professional Beauty Supplies. There's also an On-Line Digital Magazine,
and a division dedicated to showcasing of Models, Photographers, and Entertainment
Professionals; all with the emphasis on becoming the Internet Promotional Leaders
for the Beauty and Entertainment Industries.
The
first web venture, the Makeup
Artist Network, has since become one of the leading Internet Portals showcasing
the talent and services of Beauty and Entertainment Professionals. It is seen
in 92 countries and receives over 500,000 visitors monthly. While other web
portals seem to be disappearing the Network has seen a steady growth of 13%
each month. PBN is dedicated to providing outstanding service; sending the Monthly
Network Newsletter to approximately 70,000 beauty professionals has made this
growth possible.
